ReStory Intellectual Property & Digital Use Policy

All ReStory content, whether delivered through ReStory Counseling, The ReStory Institute, The Storywork Coaching Collective, Thrive Marriage Lab, ReStory Labs, or any other ReStory program or digital product, is original work protected by copyright. This includes videos, audio, worksheets, PDFs, training, graphics, guides, tools, and all written teaching materials.

By enrolling in or accessing any ReStory digital product, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Course Materials & Copyright Protection

You agree to:

• Not copy, record, reproduce, distribute, or teach ReStory materials without explicit written permission.
  
  
• Not share your login, password, portal access, or purchased content with anyone.
  
  
• Use content solely for your own personal learning and growth unless you have obtained written authorization for professional use.
  
  
• Respect all ReStory trademarks, curriculum, methods, and proprietary Storywork frameworks as copyright-protected intellectual property.
  
  

Unauthorized use, including copying, adapting, sharing, teaching, or integrating ReStory content into your own curriculum, coaching practice, clinical work, or business offerings, constitutes willful infringement and may result in legal action, statutory damages, and immediate removal from all ReStory programs without refund.

2. Access Limitations

Access to digital content is granted through the duration specified at purchase (for example: during an active membership term, or for one year following completion of a course). After your access period ends, all login credentials expire and you agree not to download, store, or continue using materials beyond the allowed timeframe.

3. Professional Use Restrictions

You agree that:

• ReStory content may not be used for commercial purposes and professional, therapeutic, clinical, pastoral, organizational, or teaching purposes will maintain citation and proper credit.
  
  
• You may not integrate ReStory videos, audio, worksheets, or any other branded material into your coaching, therapy, consulting, ministry, or offerings to others.
  
  

Enrolling in a ReStory program under false pretenses, or with the intention to use materials for professional gain, is considered material breach of this agreement and will result in:

• Immediate termination of access without refund.
  
  
• Potential copyright infringement claims.
  
  
• Possible legal action for damages.
  
  

By participating, you affirm under penalty of perjury that you are not enrolling as a competitor or for the purpose of appropriating proprietary materials.

4. Recording & Technology Use

Live sessions may be recorded for participant access. By participating, you consent to being part of these recordings, which will remain within the private program environment and not shared publicly.

You agree to:

• Not record, download, or store sessions on personal devices unless ReStory explicitly permits it.
  
  
• Respect community confidentiality and refrain from distributing any participant stories, images, or shared experiences.
  
  

5. Integrity, Honesty, & Community Boundaries

To uphold a safe learning environment, you agree to:

• Provide information that is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
  
  
• Engage with Storywork content and community spaces with respect, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  
  
• Maintain boundaries by directing all program-related communication through designated ReStory platforms and support emails, not through personal channels or social media.
  
  

ReStory facilitators reserve the right to revoke access if participation threatens group safety, violates confidentiality, or breaches this agreement. No refund will be issued in such cases.

6. Consequences of Material Breach

Violating ReStory’s IP policy, including copying materials, teaching ReStory frameworks, sharing downloads, distributing content, or integrating ReStory material into your work without credit and without permission, may result in:

• Termination of access without refund.
  
  
• Legal action to recover damages.
  
  
• Claims for copyright infringement and breach of contract.
  
  
• Immediate removal from all ReStory platforms and programs.
  
  

7. Acknowledgment & Agreement (Required)

By accessing ReStory digital content, you affirm that:

• I agree to respect ReStory’s intellectual property and will not copy, share, or reproduce materials.
  
  
• I will not share login credentials and understand access expires at the end of my purchase term.
  
  
• I am accessing this content for personal and professional growth only and will obtain written permission for commercial usage.
  
  
• I understand that commercial misuse is a material breach with legal consequences.
  
  
• I consent to recordings for program purposes and agree not to record sessions myself.
  
  
• I agree to abide by ReStory’s communication, confidentiality, and community guidelines.
